PRINT INDUSTRY VETERANS LAUNCH NEW RESEARCH GROUP, WEBSITE
The National Printing Research Council (NPRC) has launched its new website www.printingresearch.org and is actively seeking member participants for its comprehensive and varied research projects for the quick and small commercial printing industry segment.
Founded by industry consultant and author John Stewart and former Quick Printing magazine editor Bob Hall, the new organization is dedicated to gathering and sharing, on a confidential basis, key financial and marketing data essential to improving both profits and sales in today's highly competitive environment.
"For decades John has provided the industry with comprehensive surveys, studies, and reports so necessary for running a successful and profitable business," says Hall. "This new association will provide the framework and the member support to continue and expand this valuable and useful flow of information."
"NPRC intends to become the dominant industry source for statistical data related to pricing of products and services, wages, profitability, and net worth within the small-format printing industry," says Stewart. "In lieu of higher dues typically charged by other trade associations, printers who join NPRC agree to become, as much as possible, active participants in association sponsored research studies and polls that we will conduct on a regular basis." NPRC Regular Member dues are only $240 annually.
The latest industry survey available from NPRC is the 2016-2017 Digital Printing Pricing Study which is being offered to members for 50% off the retail price of $229. Other current resources can be found on the blog page of the website. They include open posts such as "The Future of Offset Printing" and member-only posts such as "How Critical Are Monthly Financial Statements" and "Why do Owners Ignore Poor SPE Ratios." For more detailed information on NPRC, visit the FAQ and Blog pages on the site at www.printingresearch.org.
The National Printing Research Council (NPRC) is a data-driven organization dedicated to providing its members with key printing industry financial and marketing information essential to improving both profits and sales. Functioning much like a national peer group for quick and small commercial printers, NPRC is the premier industry source for statistical data related to pricing of products and services, wages, profitability, and net worth.
